All four of the harem guys are pretty mysterious tough Gabriel and Ryder are especially so. Elise is a strong heroine, but you can also see her vulnerability, especially when it comes to her brother. Not only did it help with getting to know the characters, but I think it helped with the world-building as well. I loved the characters, and I loved that we were getting everyone’s point of view. The authors did a wonderful job of showing us the different types of Fae without an information dump that I often see with paranormal romance. I have to admit that paranormal isn’t my go-to genre, but I loved the world-building here.
